They're The Coolest Rock Band

Hello everyone.  Today I will introducing the best rock bands.  They are world famous and still active.  That's Green Day.  They were formed in 1987 and made a major debut in 1994.  Their genre is punk rock.  However, there are some elements of pop, so it becomes a genre called pop punk. Members are vocalist Billie Joe Armstrong, basist Mike Dirnt, drummer Tre 'Cool. Three support members will participate when they are live.
They have won the Grammy Award for the first time in punk band history. The song "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" cut from the 7th album "American Idiot" won the Grammy Award for Best Record, and the major album “Dookie“ won the Best Alternative Album Award and American Idiot for Best Album Award.  The two albums alone have sold over 35 million copies worldwide and have been inducted into the Rock Hall of Fame in 2015. They are the best punk bands.
Their songs are full of sprints, powerful and crazy. The sound of the acoustic guitar is cool and addictive and the live performance is well known during the live performance. Audience can also enjoy together. They have placards to go on stage even while performing live. There are a lot of lyrics that are rebellious and there are many anti-war songs. American Idiot is a lyric of the American Iraq war at the time.  They have been popular for about 20 years from their 90s to the present when they debut.This alone will show their awesomeness.  I will introduce their songs.

Living Legends

Hello everyone. Today, I will introduce a world famous rock band  that was active in the UK in the 90s. It's Oasis. They are very popular all over the world and their album was an explosive hit all over the world.
 I will explain about the Oasis. They were formed in 1991 and dissolved in 2009. There were five menbers then. The band has two vocals and they are real brothers. They are named Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher.  Also Noel has been slected as one of the 100 greatest artists in history with his outstanding presence on the music sence.
Their style is the same as British Rock, which continued from the Beatles, The Who and Rolling Stones that were active in the 60s and 70s. And their charm is simple and bold lyrics and the best singing voices. Unlike punk rock, it is an easy to listen sound with a classic melodies. There are no people who don't know them in Manchester. Listen well with cm in Japan. Have you heard their songs at least once?  I will introduce their famous songs.

Two Cool Bands

Do you like a rock music? Today, I will introduce Nirvana and Foo Fighters. These two artists are world famous rock bands. First I will introduce Nirvana. Nirvana is a rock band that made a major debut in 1989. There were three menbers in the end. They debut in 1989 and the vocalist Kurt Cobain committed suicide and broke up Nirvana in 1994. But in that short period they bacame world famous bands.

The album "Nevermind" released in 1991 was a big hit and won the Grammy Award after Kurt Cobain's death. Here are some of my favorite songs in this album.

This song was composed by Kurt Cobain himself. It is characteric that the solo of the guiter is long.

Smells Like Teen Spirit

This song is the most popular in Nevermind. It likes pop song.
Next, I will introduce Foo Fighters. This band was created by Nirvana drummer David Eric Grohl introduced. They are world famous rock band and also won Grammy Award. It is well known among fan that workers trapped in the 2006 Australian mining accident were encouraged by listening Foo Fighters. I will introduce their popular song.

She Is A Great Japnese Singer

Hello everyone. Today, I will introduce Hikaru Utada, She is one of the top Japanese singers. The whole nation knows her. She was born in New York. When she was a child, she went back and forth between Japan and NY, so she can speak Japanese and English about as well as native speakers. Also, she has been taking music lessons since she was young, because her mom was a singer and her dad was a record producer. She made her major debut when she was fifteen. Also, her parents were very famous in Japan, Hikaru was reputed to be a genius, and she produced results just as expected.

Her debut song was "Automatic". This song was a bit hit. And many people listen to this song now. I feel it is cool and amaing, I also like it the best. And I was suprised to it made her when she was fifteen. Her almost all songs are calm and the melody are like R&B.

Why did she gain great popularity as a singer? The reason is she came to light like a storm. And she has an amazing voice and possesses amazing talent. I think she is the best singer in Japan.

It's Best Manga

Hello everyone. In the last post, I wrote my favorite rockbands.  I'm into listening a rock band named Poco these days. And now, I will write my favorite manga today. It's "SLAM DUNK". This manga was serialized in a mouthly magazine from 1990 to 1996 and has 276 episode of this manga. It produced anime and TV game later. The number of copies printed of this manga is over 120 milion. This manga written by Takehiko Inoue. Hanamichi Sakuragi trying basketball, the boy is Japanese punk kid and the main character of this story. Also this manga is set in Kanagawa, Shonan. And I'm living close to there that I've often seen usual sight. I will explain a summary of story a little.

Hanamichi Sakuragi  who enrolled at Shohoku high school loves at first sight with Haruko Akagi. She was encouraged to join a basketball club. Because she has an older brother named Noritake Akagi who is the captain of the basketball club. Hanamichi decides to join it because he loved Haruko in spite of beginner. But his talent blooms by hard training and game.

One things I can say is that "SLUM DUNK" is the best in my opinion. And it has many famous scene and famous line, so I feel very exciting that read it again. I recommend it.

MY Favorite Bands

Hello everyone. Today I will introduce my favorite bands.  I'm crazy about rock now. I naturally listen to other genres of music too, but I've been listening to rock music lately. I will introduce two bands.

 First, I want to introduce the "Grateful Dead". They were an American rock band. I think their genre was country rock. The reason I like this band was my friend often listens to rock. He likes 70~90's rock. Also, their songs are used in a TV show,so I know a little about them. I especially like "Truckin'". Listening to this song, I feel like I'm in a meadow.The melody is country, and so it suggests wilderness. There is a lot of rock music that I don't know. Please tell me your recommended rock music

Second, I will introduce "Ginnan Boys". They're Japanese heavy rock band. They're crazy because they become naked and shed blood when performing live. Also the lyrics of their song are extreme. If you listen to their songs, you may feel uncomfortable. Although they have no class, they're crazy and cool. You will listen their song once, you can't stop to listen their music.
